Mission Statement

Purpose: The ONYX program is dedicated to improving the quality of life for male students of African descent at CSU Fresno. With some of the lowest retention and graduation rates on campus, Black male students organized this program with the goal of supporting one another and improving access to support, campus resources, and peer mentoring. By finding support in one another, Black male students of the program have taken ownership of their undergraduate experience and become agents in their own revitalization.
